Swimming at Harting
As part of our core curriculum offer for all children, we provide swimming lessons for all children in Year 4. Over the course of a half term the children visit The Petersfield Lido and have weekly swimming lesson led by specalised swimming teachers, supported by our own staff.
We aim for all children to achieve the expected standard in swimming by the end of their lessons in Year 4. However, if a child has not yet met the standard at this point we will invite them to take part in further lessons the following academic year.
This provision is something that all children look forward to and one which we are always incredibly proud of the progress made by all children.
